Montserrat Carnival is coming back for its 61st edition! The Caribbean Island of Montserrat is starting their Carnival celebrations as of middle of December 2023. Get ready to experience the uniqueness of the Montserrat culture!
When is Montserrat Carnival 2024?
In 2024, Montserrat Carnival will be celebrated on these dates: From December 16th until January 2nd.
How to get to Montserrat?
Reaching Montserrat Island By Plane:
There are several daily/weekly flights to Montserrat from travelers have to fly to Antigua first and then over to Montserrat via plane ( Svg or Fly Montserrat).
Reaching Montserrat Island by Ferry:
Using the ferry, which is usually a cheaper option:
- V2V Empress connects Montserrat with Antigua, which departs from Heritage Quay in Antigua, , with several departures and arrivals per day/week. The journey can take anywhere from 90 mins to 2hrs (depending on weather).
PRO TIP: It is recommended to purchase your ticket in advance and be at the Ferry Station at least 1hr before your departure, for check-in.
