Haiti Kanaval
Celebrations start every Sunday beginning January leading to the Trois Jours Gras (3 fat days). You can experience Carnival throughout the island in Jacmel, Cap-Haïtien or Port-au-Prince (this one being the most popular location!).

Carnaval de la Republica Dominicana
Celebrations start in Late January and take place all Sundays of the month of February leading to February 27th (which is also the Independence Day of the Dominican Republic!). The Dominican Carnaval is celebrated in different cities around the island like, Bonao, Santiago, Punta Cana and La Vega (being the most popular in the country!). You can expect the parade to start around 12pm and go till late hours of the night. Amongst the music played expect to listen Bachata, Salsa, Merengue and Dominican Dembow.
